Mayli Makes plays with colours, textures and materials often with beads, fibers or illustration. With a strong appreciation the nerdy, whimsical, weird. I like to make special unique things for those to enjoy and hopefully love. Drawing from traditional skills, and my mixed Indigenous, Taiwanese and Scottish background I love to create unique items to hopefully bring a smile to people's faces.

Located in Tkaronto, Ontario (which is the land of the territory of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. The territory is the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant). Drawing inspiration from natural things, mixing my nerdy interests, experimentation, fascination with many colours, textures and mediums. I’ve had a lifelong love of the small and intricate, so making miniatures and working with beads have been a more recent artistic adventure that I’ve thoroughly fallen in love with and will continue to work with.
